QA Engineer


The role

As a QA Engineer at Felinesoft, you will be a valued team member making a real contribution to our software projects.

As part of our growing QA team, you’ll be working with your QA Engineer colleagues  and our Automation Test Specialist to improve processes and support the implementation of testing automation.

You will be responsible for automated and manual testing, working within an agile team to deliver projects to our clients. Projects typically cover a mixture of web solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and / or apps, all of which provide bespoke software solutions for our clients.  

As part of the Felinesoft team you will be expected to participate in the company culture of self-learning, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. With a flat organisation structure, you’ll be responsible for deciding how to carry out your tasks to achieve the best results.

Key duties

  • Creating Test Plans for project deliverables;
  • Running tests and identifying, reporting and progressing faults;
  • Designing and implementing automation tests
  • Integrating test automation into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Creating user manuals;
  • Running UAT walkthrough with the client;
  • Taking ownership of the quality of the final product, raising issues and feeding back as necessary.

Essential skills and experience

  • Commercial QA/software tester experience (2 years minimum)
  • Experience of automated tools such as Selenium, ideally using C#
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to haves

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with EasyRepro or similar
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience or awareness of Agile software development
